12/19/ · I like TV Tropes. A lot. But I don't love it, and it means love does not make me blind to its vices. And there's a lot of things to be annoyed about - and I'm not talking about people clearly misinterpreting things, examples to articles that do not fit, or spoilers. No, these things annoy everyone. But what annoys me, specifically, is: 1.

No, these things annoy everyone. But what annoys me, specifically, is: 1. Too many tropers are wusses - Nightmare Fuel is full of examples that wouldn't scare a toddler. So is Nightmare Fuel Unleaded, which is supposed to be about stuff that scares adults.

If a scene is at least slightly sad, you can expect it to appear in Tear Jerker sooner or later. If a series ends without the hero marrying the princess and Dragonballs being used to ressurect everyone who died in the meantime, it will be listed as Bittersweet Ending.

Real bittersweet endings are listed as downer endings. Pirates of Legion invasion timers Carribean 3.

What really annoys me is their color Mia li pornhub. Darth Wiki hurts my eyes like hell there is a reason why websites with black backgrounds died out in the ninetiesand Sugar Wiki is to Darth Wiki what Darth Wiki is to normal Dc tamaraneans Tropes - and, to add insult to injury, a lot of my favorite articles are on it. I can't read my favorite articles without having to endure ridiculously ugly and nausea-inducing color schemes.

Judging from some of the links, there are people who do not realize that tropes such as They Changed It Now It Sucks have ironic names. Talk about Fan Dumb, indeed. Some pages become pretty convoluted, and a lot of people do miss the point. See the nightmare fuel pages, and the magnificent bastard pages for the worst examples. Some tropers feel the need to list an example without explanation, taking refuge in "x just x". Because I completely know what they are talking about when they list some obscure fan fiction based on an anime released ten years ago and only in Japan.

I also hate how every single sarcastic Skinny bitches pics is linked to the Take That article.

It's not funny or clever, it's obnoxious and annoying. Sugar Wiki colour scheme is ugly, as someone else mentioned. Magnificent Bastard. So Fallout 4 oswald the hell was Shishio Makoto listed as a Magnificent Bastard for a while.

Because of one speech he made. Magnificent Bastard is not a list of your favourite characters, you idiots. The whole article needs to be axed, or at least revised and edited although it's happened before, and people still insist on listing their favourite characters. First, the layout.

The Am göt meme foto. Again, compare the quality of an average wikipedia article to an average tvtropes article. It's the difference between the essay I wrote as a 4th grader about "Why my puppy is the best" and the esay I wrote my freshman year of college on Dostoevsky and existentialism.

Rule 34 tv tropes, this thing needs better editing to throw out the crap. And my oh my is there a lot of crap. Waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too much Anime. Re: TV Tropes - things that annoy me I will repeat that the reason there's a disprportionate amount of anime examples is that there are a disproportionate amount of anime-fan editors, especially recently.

I will admit that one editor going in and adding non-anime examples won't really do the trick, but if Rule 34 tv tropes I see complaining about it did, it'd certainly help. Except DarthWiki's color scheme. White on black is a lot easier on my eyes. May as well change Flanderization to Character Decay - oh wait, that would defeat the purpose of having snappy titles.

Behold, the Blog of Fro. Re: TV Tropes - things that annoy me Probably because Anime as a rule tends to be obnoxiously full of cliches.

It's not seen in American TV simply because American sitcoms died a horrible painful death in the 90's. For some reason, American shows seem to get canceled in a few episodes, whereas Japanese shows get bought by the season.

So America gets steaming shovelfuls of crap from anime companies, while we rightfully ignore the same ridiculous copypasta sitcoms that aired oh so many years ago. I could sit there and list all the tropes from old ABC and NBC sitcoms, but unlike anime, there's not a ready source of material to remember from. Re: TV Tropes - things that annoy me My main annoyances are, basically, those entries where people just Don't Get It such as the previously mentioned instance of They Changed It Now It Suckscompletely undermining in the examples the point of the trope, and DarthWiki's color scheme.

Honestly, I tend to skip ther anime section in examples because it's either one of the above two or blindingly obscure, even among geeks.
